Owned gear, accountable crews
More than 30 years of load-ins. That includes NASA Johnson Space Center, Space Center Houston, SpaceX Louisiana, the Louisiana Governor's Inauguration Ball, and Louisiana Economic Development. We have also produced events for various presidential candidates. The scale changes; the standard doesn't.
Someone approved this spend, and that someone answers to taxpayers. You need a written scope and a number — not a vague estimate that grows later. We quote from a site survey, so the number you get accounts for the power situation, the load-in path, the weather exposure and the venue rules before you sign anything.
Public sites come with security requirements, restricted areas, union houses, permit conditions and officials who need to walk the site in advance. We've worked through all of it. Our crews are our own — one company is accountable from the site survey to the last truck off the lot — so there's no subcontractor chain to explain to a facility manager.
What that looks like on a festival or tour
Ceremonies & official functions
Podium audio, press lines, stage dressing, and a general session setup that photographs well from every seat.
Community festivals & holidays
Mobile stages that let you build a concert site in a parking lot or a park without permanent infrastructure.
Public concerts & series
We own the audio, lighting, LED video, staging and rigging, so a Tuesday night concert gets the same gear a touring act would demand.
Civic gatherings
Town halls, courthouse steps and veteran recognition events. If 300 people show up, it should look like someone planned for them.
The program is public
A ceremony can't run long because a video wall isn't finished. Naturalization ceremonies, inaugurations, dedications, ribbon cuttings and holiday events start on time because the program is public. We build the schedule backward from the moment the first word is spoken, and we staff enough crew to hit it.
Compliance and access come with the territory. Public sites come with security requirements, restricted areas, union houses, permit conditions and officials who need to walk the site in advance — we've worked through all of it.

One company is accountable from the site survey to the last truck off the lot.
A concert site in a parking lot or a park
Government and municipal work isn't one kind of event. The Fourth of July, Christmas parades, Mardi Gras, county and parish fairs — mobile stages let you build a full concert site without permanent infrastructure, and summer concert series and Independence Day headliners get the same gear a touring act would demand.

We own the audio, lighting, LED video, staging and rigging — one warehouse behind every event.
Quoted like public buyers need us to
You may not control the timeline — a bid cycle, a council approval or a federal fiscal year might. Tell us the constraint and we'll build the quote to fit it. A site survey, a written scope, a line-item number. If you have procurement requirements — documented scope, insurance, references — tell us early and we'll work to them.
We build festival main stages and we build courthouse lawn ceremonies. The same crew standards apply to both, and the same warehouse backs both.

A date and a city is enough to start the conversation.
What we need from you, and what you get back
01 Site survey
power, access, ground conditions, rigging points, weather exposure, noise ordinances, load-in routes
02 Written scope and number
a line-item quote tied to the survey, formatted for a bid file or council packet on request
03 Load-in, show and load-out
crew loads in on schedule, a producer is reachable on show day, and the site returns to the condition we found it in
If the event is inside two weeks, or something has gone sideways on another vendor, call the office instead of using the form. The phone is faster.
Why promoters and tour managers call us back
We own the inventory — audio, lighting, LED video, staging, mobile stages and power — maintained in our own warehouse, not a subrental chain two weeks out. We run our own fleet and our own crews, so trucking, load-in, show call and load-out are handled by people on our payroll. No handoffs, no finger-pointing between vendors.
Backed by more than 30 years of load-ins and named work including NASA Johnson Space Center, Space Center Houston, SpaceX Louisiana, the Louisiana Governor's Inauguration Ball, and Louisiana Economic Development, plus the 2022 Parnelli Award for PLSN Regional Lighting Company of the Year.
FAQ
What is government and municipal event production?
It's live event production for public-sector clients — cities, parishes and counties, state agencies, federal facilities, public universities and civic organizations. The work covers ceremonies, official functions, community festivals, public concerts and civic gatherings, and it carries fixed public schedules and procurement requirements that private events often don't.
Do you carry the insurance and documentation a public entity requires?
Tell us what your procurement process requires and we'll confirm what we can supply before you commit. The earlier in the process you raise it, the easier the paperwork is on both sides.
We only found out our approved vendor pulled out. Can you help on short notice?
Short-notice work is a real part of what we do. Call 337.626.2235 rather than submitting the form — the phone is faster, and someone answers. If the date is close, we'll tell you quickly what's possible and what it takes.
Can you provide just a stage and sound for a small ceremony?
Yes. We build festival main stages and we build 300-person courthouse ceremonies, with the same gear standard and the same crew. The scale changes; the standard doesn't.
Do you work outside Louisiana?
Yes. Sulphur is home base, with locations in Houston and New Orleans, and we work across the United States and into Canada with our own fleet.
Can we get a quote formatted for a council agenda or bid file?
Ask for it. We quote from a written scope anyway, so adapting the format is a matter of telling us what your process needs.
Tell us the date, the city,
and what the event needs to do.
A date and a city is enough to start the conversation. You'll get a real producer, a site survey where it's warranted, and a written scope and a number — within one business day, usually sooner.
