The rider names brands before it names anything else. Our inventory covers the tier-1 names across every backline category.
That last keyboard line matters. A Hammond with a Leslie and a Fender Rhodes aren't items you rent from a general AV house — they're specialty pieces that need the right transport and handling. We carry them because riders ask for them, and we keep them tour-ready.
The team stays current on the latest gear across the board. If your rider calls for something newer than what most shops stock, ask.

We support three kinds of work, and the standard doesn't change between them.
Touring production

Repairs that keep the show moving
Gear fails. What matters is what happens next.
We handle basic repairs in-house — soldering, capacitor replacement, the kind of fixes that get a rig back on the stage instead of back on a truck to a shop. When a repair goes past that boundary — PCB and deep board work — we send it to specialists by gear type rather than pretending we can do everything under one roof.
For tours, the same logic applies to sourcing. If a routing gap means you need a piece of gear mid-run, we get it externally. You're not waiting on a warehouse two states back.
The pattern is simple: when something fails on show day, there's a path to a fix, and we know which path it is.
Backline and the rest of production
Backline doesn't exist on its own at load-in. It shares the stage with the PA, the power, the risers and the truck pack.
When we handle your backline alongside full production, the coordination happens inside one company. How a backline rental gets quoted
We don't print prices, because a backline number without a rider attached is a guess. Here's what we actually need:

What is backline?
Backline is the performance equipment positioned at the rear of the stage — drums, cymbals, guitar and bass amps, keyboards, and DJ gear — as opposed to the PA, lighting and video. It's the part of the production specified in an artist's technical rider, usually brand-by-brand.
Can you match an exact rider, or only close substitutes?
Send the rider and we'll tell you straight. The brand coverage above handles most standard calls; for specific model-level requests we'll confirm what we can match, what we can source externally, and what would need a substitution agreed with the artist before show day.
Do you provide a backline tech with the gear?
Yes — backline can be quoted gear-only or with our techs. Tell us which when you request the quote, and we'll scope it accordingly.
How fast can you source gear you don't stock?
We source externally when a tour or show needs something outside the inventory, but turnaround depends on the item and where you are in the routing. Call us with the specifics and we'll give you a real answer, not a hedge.
What happens if a rented amp or keyboard fails on site?
Basic repairs — soldering, capacitors and similar — are handled in-house, so most failures get fixed on the spot. Anything deeper goes to a specialist by gear type. Either way, you're not the one hunting for a solution at 4pm on show day.
Do you rent backline to the public?
